Shravani Mela Deoghar starts from today: Lakhs of Shiva devotees will come to Babadham and perform Jalabhishek of Mahadev, know the complete preparations

Shravani fair will start from today in Deoghar, Jharkhand. Apart from the entire state, Shiv devotees coming from different parts of the country will perform Jalabhishek of Mahadev. The district administration has made tight security arrangements at Babadham for lakhs of Shiv devotees. 

The world famous Shravani Mela will be inaugurated on Thursday, July 10 at 10 am from Dumma main gate. Deputy Commissioner Naman Priyash Lakra has given information about its preparations through a press conference. DC said that a high-level review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Minister Sudivya Kumar, in which the departmental secretary also participated

The Deputy Commissioner said that all the departments have been given clear guidelines regarding their work. The district administration is fully prepared to ensure the convenience, security and facilities of the devotees.

Many ministers of the state government will participate in the inaugural ceremony.
Along with Urban Development Minister Sudipya Kumar, Rural Development Minister Sanjay Prasad Yadav, Food Supply Minister Deepika Pandey Singh, MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey, MP Nalin Soren, MLA Suresh Paswan, MLA Uday Shankar Singh, and MLA Devendra Kunwar will also participate in the inaugural ceremony of the State Shravani Mela.

Shravani Mela is a symbol of the cultural dignity of Deoghar.

Shravani Mela lasts for a month. In this, devotees of Lord Shiva from many states of the country offer water to Baba. Not only this, devotees from abroad also offer water to Baba. There is an atmosphere of devotion from Sultanganj to Deoghar for the whole month.
